Medication at School

Medication at School

Some students may need medication during the school day to support their health and well-being. The Health Office may provide over-the-counter medications, including Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, Tums and cough drops, when appropriate. Parent/guardian permission is required before these medications can be administered to students. Permission for over-the-counter medications is completed through Skyward during the student registration process. Permission for any other over the counter medication not mentioned, will need to be given through the over the counter medication form found below. The medication must come in its original container and labeled with the student's name. If your child requires a prescribed medication at school, please contact the Health Office to discuss their needs and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed. All medications must be picked up by the end of each school year or they will be disposed of. Families are encouraged to review and update their health information and medication permissions each school year.
