Remedial programs do exist for LSCS students that require specific strategies and learning environments for success. Students in grades K-5 receive 30 minutes of pull-out intervention 5 days a week in the following subject areas- math, ELA, reading. Middle School students receive individualized assistance and remediation according to identified needs.
