Interested Applicants must have: High School Diploma or GED, be 18 years or older, have the ability to supervise and manage students in the classroom, have (or obtain) an IDOE substitute teacher permit, and have a current expanded background check. Apply only now for the free or reduced school lunch and textbook assistance program. Applications must be filled out each school year. You can apply online through the My MealTime Portal.
