Children will not be permitted in school if any of the following conditions exist -

Is unclean or has an offensive odor.

Temperature above 100.4 degrees, may return when temperature is normal for a minimum of 24 hours without fever reducing medication.
- Is vomiting or has vomited in the last 24 hours without known cause.

Has any condition which is felt to be contagious.

Has any inflammatory eye condition until under medical treatment.

Has stiff neck or headache with fever, may return after clearance from doctor.

Unknown rash - must have clearance from doctor.

Strep throat must be treated with antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.

Chicken pox, cannot return until scabs are not infectious.

Impetigo - can return to school after start of treatment if area is covered.

Scabies is a parasite infestation, may return after treatment with doctor note.

Scarlet fever may return only with doctor release.

Head lice - Must be treated and free of any live lice. Student must be rechecked by the nurse and be completely free of bugs before being admitted to school, parent must wait with student until clearance is given.
