In Lake Station Community Schools, no child is denied a meal.
If a child's account balance is negative, the child will still be provided with a reimbursable meal, which is then charged
to his/her account. As a result, some students accrue sizeable negative balances.
Our charging and courtesy meal polices are in place to ensure no student goes without a balanced meal, regardless of
their account balance or payment status.
Through the Angel Fund, donations can be made toward those negative balances.

The Angel Fund allows members of the community to contribute funds to assist students in need.
You can be a Lunch Angel by making a tax deductible gift to help with the burden of these debts.
