Alexander Hamilton Elementary Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures 

Drop-off

• Doors open at 8:10 a.m., please do not drop off your child/children before that time.
  
  
• Enter the drive from 29^th Ave.
  
  
• Let your child/children off at door J. This door is locked at 8:30 a.m. at which time they will need to be buzzed in at door A.
  
  
• Please no parking in the car rider line. If your child/children are not ready to get out of the car, please pull out of the car rider line, and park elsewhere.

Pick-up

• All car riders will be issued a pick-up number at the start of the school year.
  
  
• Cars will line up on 29^th Ave. facing east. Please be courteous to Hamilton’s neighbors and DO NOT block drive ways or cross streets.
  
  
• Students will be dismissed at 3:20 at which time the line will move forward into the drive.
  
  
• After picking up your child please exit onto Lake St. There will be NO RIGHT TURN at dismissal due to loading of busses.
  
  
• Please call the office with any dismissal changes prior to 2:30pm.  On early release Wednesdays, calls should be made prior to 1:45pm.  These deadlines allow us to update bus lists, notify teachers, etc.
