Miss Oprisko

Hello!

My name is Liz Oprisko. Some kids call me Miss. Oprisko, but most of them call me Miss. O! Parents- feel free to call me Liz.

First things first- a little about me... My family is small. It is just my son, Theo, and me! Theo is 7 years old and in first grade. We are from Portage, IN, but we now live in Munster, IN. Theo and I love to play with LEGOs, eat pizza, and be outside!!!! Our class will spend A LOT of time learning and reading outside!

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University Northwest. I also have a bachelor's degree in Special Education from Purdue University Northwest.

A few reminders---
→PLEASE make sure your child brings their Chromebook to school every day, fully charged. If their Chromebook is broken, let me know ASAP so I can help get them a spare.
→If you need a copy of our supplies list- let me know! If you have difficulties providing supplies for your child- also let me know! Send me a message and I will help.
→Every day we have snack time. Please send your child to school every day with a snack if you can. If students do not have snacks, I will provide them with one.

One of my strengths as a teacher is my ability to communicate with parents. When teachers and parents work together, the child will succeed no matter what. If you ever need my cell number- feel free to ask.
