Free Meals for all LSCS Students

All children in the district will be served free meals! 

We are pleased to inform you that Lake Station Community Schools will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for meals served on the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2023-2024 school year.     

What does this mean for you and your children? 
All enrolled students can receive a healthy BREAKFAST and LUNCH at school at no charge for the 2023-2024 school year.  Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a Free & Reduced Application.

Free/Reduced Application

While you do not need the free/reduced application for meals, you do still need to fill it out for other educational and financial benefits. Please fill out the form each year and submit it to your child's school.

If you do not have a printer, you can pick up a form from the schools. Only 1 form needs to be filled out per family. Turn in the form to the main office. They will forward it to the Food Service Department for processing. Please contact the LSCS Food Service Department with any questions.
