Classroom Expectations

- NO CELL PHONES!!!! This is not just my rule but a state law. I want every student to be successful and the less distractions we have, the better.
- Homework is a completion grade. This does not mean putting down random answers and expecting full credit. I want to see that a student has actually tried and put effort into the work. We will go over any questions on homework the next day. Homework is typically due the next day unless otherwise stated. Each assignment will also be posted in Google Classroom.
- Show your work! I want to be able to catch and fix mistakes if needed. This cannot happen if no work is shown. Points will be taken off on quizzes and tests if there is no work shown.
- Quizzes are open note. As long as students have taken notes, they can be used on a quiz (NOT A TEST).
- Communication is key. I want to be able to assist every student that needs it, but I cannot read minds. No question is a dumb question and I am always happy to provide extra help and examples if needed. I have an open door policy, so if any student needs to speak with me, they can.
- Respect. I am a very positive person and like having a very positive classroom. Bullying and disrespect will NOT be tolerated in my classroom.
