• Scholarships and Requirements

    Along with searching scholarship information online, students are encouraged to check with guidance to see if there are any new scholarships that may be available to them.
    The following is a list of scholarships and their requirements (students are advised to check with scholarship website to obtain full information regarding the application process):
    Scholarships with February Deadlines:
     
    Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship Award
    • Have a parent battling breast cancer or has lost a parent to breast cancer.
    • Be a high school senior, reside within and attend high school (or be home-schooled) in Indiana. (If you do not reside in Indiana, your application will not be considered.)
    • Plan to pursue a degree, either full-time or part-time, in any accredited post-secondary institution in Indiana.
    • Have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Be a U.S. citizen, or documented permanent resident of the U.S. Race, color, creed or sex will not be factors in choosing the Award winner(s).
    • Recipients will be asked to provide proof of acceptance to a college or university before receiving payment of the Award.

    Indiana Association of Educational Office Professionals
    • Applicants must have completed two (2) or more business educational courses (four (4) semesters within four (4) years of high school from among the following: computer programming, accounting, finance, business (management, law, co-op, etc.), computer science, or classes comparable to these courses.
    • The applicant shall be enrolled, having made application to an institute of higher education (two (2) or four (4) year college, university, business college, or school of vocational technical education).
    • The applicant must maintain at least a 2.8 (of a possible 4.0) G.P.A.

    The Indiana Academic All Star Scholarship
    • One nominee per school
    • Students will be scored on their first 7 semester grades, and either an SAT or ACT score. An official school transcript and verification of SAT/ACT scores must accompany the nomination form.
    • Each student nominee must select an influential school corporation employee to honor, and write an essay about that person (200 words or less).
    • Nominees should submit 2 photograph of themselves, which may be used in the recognition publication. (Photo should be of reproducible quality).

    Professional Athletes Foundation Student Scholarship
    • Overall High School Grade Point Average of 2.0 or better
    • High school senior status
